Abstract

|
The most important factor of the beauty in the face is harmony of facial skeleton and soft tissue.
The needs for contour reconstruction of face are ever increasing. To reconstruct Romberg´s disease, Lateral facial dysplasia, Lipodystrophy, even in Hemifacial microsomia, the addition of adequate soft tissue bulk is mandatory.
The best technique to supply soft tissue is buried free tissue transfer. We have noted that De-epithelialized groin free flap transfer is the most valuable method after the 7 cases of facial contour reconstruction with various soft tissue method.
